The journey begins with a morning drive from Gondar to Debark, the gateway to Simien Mountains National Park. After completing park registration and meeting the local guide and scout, the trek begins.

The trail leads toward Sankaber camp through beautiful highland scenery where Gelada baboons are frequently seen grazing along the cliffs. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of deep valleys and dramatic escarpments.

After breakfast, the trek continues through rolling hills and scenic valleys toward Geech Camp. The trail passes spectacular viewpoints overlooking the vast Simien escarpments and crosses streams surrounded by giant lobelia plants unique to the region.

Wildlife sightings are common during the trek, especially Gelada baboons and various bird species. The views become increasingly dramatic as the trail climbs higher into the mountains.

Overnight camping at Geech Camp.

This day features one of the most scenic hikes in the Simien Mountains. The trek leads to Imet Gogo, one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the park, offering breathtaking panoramic views over deep valleys and towering cliffs.

The hike continues through alpine landscapes dotted with giant lobelia and unique vegetation before returning to Geech Camp. This day provides excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife observation.

Overnight camping at Geech Camp.

On the final day, trek back toward the park entrance while enjoying the last views of the magnificent Simien Mountains. After reaching Debark, the journey continues by vehicle back to Gondar.
